My Family

My family is one of the most important things in my life. I have a really big extended family and value all of my family members so much. My mom has six sisters and all of them have children. I am very close with all of my cousins and my aunts. We all get together every year multiple times a year. In addition to my extended family I also value my close family very much as well. I have a sister that is 23 years old. She is actually a Stout graduate as well as her Husband. They just had my niece on August 29th. I am a new aunt and very excited about it.

I am so excited for my family to keep growing as well. All of my cousins are adults now and we've proven that we all want to stay connected so I think we will continue to get together even as life get busier and things change. My sister is the first cousin to have a baby so I think we're all excited to see how that will possible change the dynamic between us. I actually have two cousins that live here in Menomonie as well. We make time for each other and make our family a priority. I hope to continue this tradition as we go into our 20s and 30s. We already have a big group chat with all of my aunts and all of the cousins where we talk on a weekly basis. We share things about our lives and experiences and I think that is why we continue to be as close as we are.
